The Starglide 8-Foot Deck Height Open Entrance Straight Slide is designed to bring maximum flexibility, durability, and compatibility to your playground system. This sectional straight chute features an open entrance, making it easier for children to enter and transition smoothly from the deck platform into the slide. It’s the ideal choice for playgrounds seeking ADA-friendly access points, wider usability, and simplified design integration.
This component is a direct replacement for CSS-8STR, the Chute Slide Sectional Straight model used across commercial playground systems, including modular Expedition-style and Adventure Playground setups. Engineered to slot seamlessly into any Starglide sectional configuration, this straight chute can be combined with additional slide parts to create fully customized slide paths.
Using the modular system, your team can mix and match sections to create straight, turning, wavy, and multi-directional chute combinations. When paired with the compatible 36″ (.9 m) entry hood and exit/runout, this slide connects flawlessly to any 8 ft deck height structure.
Built from commercial-grade rotational-molded plastic, this slide is resistant to UV fading, cracks, weathering, and high-volume use—perfect for parks, schools, HOAs, churches, community centers, and recreation facilities.
